    Kerttu Nurminen (1943) started as a designer in Nuutajärvi in ​​1972 and designed Coca Cola bottles with unique items. He designed the first commercial artworks, Akilleija and Hilla, for the first art collection (since 1981, Pro Arte) in 1976. Kerttu Nurminen is best known for the Mondo and Verna glass series.
    Kerttu Nurminen has also designed ceramics for Arabia and has, among others, the State Arts and Crafts Award and the Kaj Franck Design Award.
