Vintage pure wool military blanket from 1957 of the Royal Netherlands Navy in beige red Aabe

The color is mainly beige with a few stripes of red. There are several factories that made these blankets. They probably made them all for the military, because we had found the exact same blanket before. Sometimes the blanket has used a different thread color for the Feston stitch, but otherwise the blankets are almost identical. This blanket has a white blanket stitch. A beautiful, old blanket from 1957 is on the label.

This blanket is old, it is good, but it is starting to show signs of aging. Here and there will be some thinner spots, but you can see this if you hold the blanket in the light.
