This set Arcopal France oven dish with red and blue flowers consists of a large bowl and a medium bowl with lid. The large one has no lid. There is a slight difference in color in the redness of the scales. Furthermore, the bowls are in good vintage condition.

Arcopal

Arcopal belongs too Arc France, or actually under Arc International. Arcopal is known for its milky-white opal glass. ARC stands for Christallerie d'Arques, which was conceived in 1825. The technique of opal production was only jet discovered in 1958. Arcopal stands for strong tableware, or in this case "as strong as an elephant". There was a logo of an elephant's foot on the package with "Extra Resistants" underneath.
