Three small framed prints by Dutch Ed Jeska, signed in pencil by Jeska.
Below the Knotswilg tree is a signed ‘woodcut’ (in dutch) at the bottom left, ‘pressure’ (in dutch) in the middle. Here the paper of the passe partout or the glass on the inside is somewhat discolored.
´t Westland is written at the bottom left. Here the passepartout is discolored at the top mainly. The print looks good, a few dots in it.
The Cacti; this one looks the tightest in the list. The frames are made of wood, bamboo shape in black.

Dimensions: frames: 29 x 21 cm.
The woodcut has dimensions: 12 x 16.5 cm.

The lists are by PD Doodewaard Kzn. framed.

Jan Staats Kiewiet lived from 1899 – 1977. He was self-taught and founder and director of the Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. Jeska loved landscapes. Period in which this was made is probably around the mid 90s. In the beginning he wrote his name completely on the prints.
